A personal Specialist Discount Card is available giving a 15% discount on all purchases, this can be on top of sale or promotional items. The card is valid in all Millets & Blacks stores. All you have to do is produce your Midland Hill Walkers membership card and ask for the Specialist Discount Card.

Marilyn Lowe and Peter Larkin : Nature Matters Newsletter

Marilyn Lowe and Peter Larkin, launched last year a tri-quarterly illustrated natural history newsletter called Nature Matters. This is a low-tech production but which allows specially drawn illustrations to be integrated into the text, and the idea is to keep alive the spirit of Gilbert White of Selborne by gathering local observations and reports of what is going on locally and sometimes further afield. So far the newsletter has about 50 supporters and appears in March, August and December and costs only £3.50 (post free) a year.If you have seen anything lately on your walks in the natural history field, please send to Marilyn at 21 St Christopher’s Close, Warwick CV34 5RT.
